Secret Santa Swap - Firecracker group

I took part in a secret Santa swap from the UK firecracker group. The theme for this was red or ladybird. Both of these lovely presents came from Lisa B. I didn't open the presents until Xmas day and they were so beautifully wrapped! I received a red scarf which will look fab with my new cream coat and a spotted fluffy hot water bottle and socks. The socks are not in the picture as I had worn them and they were in the laundry hamper! (see I will get a lot of use from the presents!).

November Nightingale December bib swap

This months bib theme was Christmas. My bibs this month came from the LeMasters family who sent a really cute Santa bib with a pack of disposable bibs. Lisa is a mother of a toddler and knows how practical disposable bibs can be! They will certainly be going into my suitcase for when we eventually go to China, to cut down on all the laundry. Thank you Lisa,

November Nightingale Cyber Shower Swap

This is the first cyber shower that I have participated in. This morning a box arrived from Sara Greenleaf from New York. Sara had very cleverly chosen a winter theme which is really apt with our cold weather at the moment. The presents contained a beautiful pair of pink reindeer pyjamas in a warm fleece fabric ( Sara you must have known we live in a Victorian house with the original sash windows!), to keep baby Wong warm at night! Sara also sent a gorgeous white and lilac hat and matching mittens, a pair of bright funky socks and a cute Hallmark China figure, which will be perfect in Baby Wong's bedroom.
Sara a big thank you, we love all our cyber shower presents, and hope we have our child home soon, so she can wear the PJ's and scarf and gloves to keep her warm!

November Nightingales November bib swap

These two gorgeous bibs are from the November Nightingales monthly bib swap and were sent to me by Sarah Greenleaf from NY. This months theme was 'Daddy' and both bibs are so cute. They arrived this morning and were beautifully wrapped in the green butterfly print tissue paper which you can see in the picture background. Thank you so much Sarah.

Surprise gift!

This was a lovely surprise gift that arrived from Arizona today from Alicia Juarez as a thank you for the sippy cup and bibs that I sent her. We went to Arizona and the grand canyon about 6 years ago, and treked to the bottom ( it took us hours!) and was both beautiful and an incredible sight, so its so nice to have a present that reminds me of such a special time.
Thank you so much

November Nightingales September and October bib swap

These beautiful bibs are both from Sherri Anderson from the November Nightingale group. In September Sherri sent me a lovely pack of 4 bibs, and in October the theme was 'mummy' so she kindly sent me two 'mummy bibs' and a matching burping cloth. Thanks Sherri, you have great taste!

WWF Yahoo Sippy cup swap

This is a picture of the 'sippy cups' that I recieved on Saturday. This was another group swap from my WWFChina2006 Yahoo group. Thanks Dannye and Ray Thomas ( and freckles!) they are great and I cant wait to put them to use!

WWF Yahoo lovely swap

Here is a picture of the lovely child comforter from the WWWChina2006 'lovely swap'. This came from Anik Nolet in Canada. It was beautifully wrapped in green tissue paper and she had also sent a froggy card and fantastic froggy shoes. Thanks Anik they are so cute.

The child comforter, is very light and soft and will go in my care package to China when we eventually get our referral!
