WWF Yahoo Spring Swap

These lovely gifts came beautifully wrapped from Laura Keir as part of the WWWF yahoo group Spring Swap. Laura made me two lovey's (comforters) from towel/flannel cotton. A note pad/stickers, a kitchen towel, a red gift bag, a Chinese themed wine cover, a San Diego, panda drinking vessel. Thank you Laura and for all the special effort you made is wrapping them so beautifully. I didn't want to open them!

I joined the November Nightingale hair bow swap, but also signed up to Nancys one off swap as well. So this month I bought and will swap four sets of hairbows for baby Wong. This pretty blue and white hair bow came from Nancy.

Baby Wong will have so many pretty things when we finally get her. Hopefully she wont have one of the really short orphanage hair cuts or if she does, I hope the hair grows quickly!

November Nightingale February bib swap

This was my final month for the bib swap as I only wanted to join for 6 months. I have received some beautiful bibs from my swap partners.

This months partner was Cyndi James, who not only sent me three beautiful pink bibs, which can be wiped ( so practical!), but a lovely outfit for baby Wong. A striped pair of leggings and a pretty white T shirt. I was shocked when I opened the parcel by Cyndis generosity! Thanks for the beautiful clothes and for making my last bib swap so special.

WWF 2006 yahoo group Chinese New Year swap

These gifts for baby Wong arrived yesterday from the Anderson family. The poor things have had me for the last two swaps and the extra postage to the UK.

The theme was Chinese New Year to celebrate the year of the rat. Sherri sent me a pink outfit, baby booties and a changing mat. I havent even thought of getting a changing mat as yet and as its quite compact will be great to pack and take to China with us. Part of the CNY tradition is for children to have a new outfit of clothes to wear. Thanks Sherri, I cant wait to start dressing baby Wong in some of the gifts that I have got for from the swaps.

WWF 2006 Yahoo group Pyjama Swap

These cute pink pyjamas, stripey sleep suit and socks was from the Anderson family. This was a swap that I took part in for one of the yahoo groups. Before the swap I only had one pair of pyjamas and some sleep suits for Baby Wong and thought that it would be a great swap to take part in. Now baby Wong has 2 pairs of pj's from swaps (an additonal 2 pairs that I bought identical to the ones that I sent to my swap partner!Q) and 3 body sleep suits! Now if we get twins we will need to think about buying some more, but I am sure that we will need lots of PJ's!

November Nightingales January bib swap

These bibs arrived today from the November Nightingale bib swap. They came from the leMasters family. This months theme was 'fancy' so I received a beautiful pink bib with daddy's little girl on the front, a peach/orange bib with an orange cat on the front. My husband Terry will love this as it looks like one of our cats Dylan! And finally a gingham patterned bib and burp cloth. Thank you Lisa they are all beautiful and it was so generous of you to send so many.

February will probably be my 6th and final month of taking part. I have really loved all the bibs that I have received, lets hope we get our referral soon so that I can put them all to use!

Secret Santa Swap - Firecracker group

I took part in a secret Santa swap from the UK firecracker group. The theme for this was red or ladybird. Both of these lovely presents came from Lisa B. I didn't open the presents until Xmas day and they were so beautifully wrapped! I received a red scarf which will look fab with my new cream coat and a spotted fluffy hot water bottle and socks. The socks are not in the picture as I had worn them and they were in the laundry hamper! (see I will get a lot of use from the presents!).
